TRANSPERSONAL/ VIVATION BREATHING
Like a library, our body keeps a record of whatever has happened to us, both good and bad, from the moment of conception. In fact, our body also stores the memory of generational and collective events as well. These are in part conscious, in part subconscious.
Continuous or vivation breathing is a simple technique: as we breathe, we do not allow intervals between the in and the out breath, hence we call this continuous breathing. We enter a fine, trance-like state, within which we remain conscious of ourselves and able to observe our sensations and feelings. This helps us to accept our emotions which emerge from conscious or subconscious memories. It helps us re-evaluate the path, and leads to a deeper understanding. We come across the roots of our physical illnesses, our emotional problems, and of our everyday blockages.
We often try to deal with our traumas and difficulties by suppressing them. This drains a lot of energy, even if we do it unconsciously. With continuous breathing we dissolve those blocks and our own bodies become our masters. Instead of depending on an external opinion, we trust our own bodies to discover and heal the issue – whenever and wherever needed. This gives us both a powerful tool and an astonishing freedom, as the change happens from the inside to the outside.
